Pursuing the purity of the drone with what seems a religious fervour, Alistair has produced another beautiful release to add to an already impressive discography. musicforlighthouses follows closely on the heels of a plethora of superb solo releases, released in the main on Alistair's own Lefthand Pressings imprint. 15 MARCH 2007 Our first release is by San Diego based experimental musician Kyle Wright, founder of Diophantine Discs, who also records as Dysthymia and as one half of Fiche. We are very proud to be presenting his work An Aqueous Philosophy as the first release on Quinquaginta. An Aqueous Philosophy is a 30 minute series of connected conceptual pieces, presented in two distinct parts. For those who know Kyle's other work, it will come as something of a surprise.
